3D-printed bionic arm

Hey peeps!

Saw this video yesterday on YouTube and thought I'd share. Technology is just so awesome these days. It doesn't seem to ever stop baffling me!

The gist of the story is that start-up company Open Bionics work with robotics and wanted to create cheap (£1 000 is apparently cheap) robotic arms. The best way to do that seems to be by 3D-printing the person in need of a robotic arm and in just a few days it will be done! It is powered by her muscle signals in her upper shoulder area. Pretty cool.

It's very inspiring to see technology moving forward and people being creative with what they do, which helps people. Now that the idea is out there it seems obvious to want a hand that can move and that is better than a regular hand, because why not, but I would never have thought of that. People with ideas, so inspiring.

What kind of technological ideas do you have?
