Podcasts and clam allergies

Hey guys!

I have some really nice podcasts you just have to listen to. The first one is called The Black Tapes and the second one is called TANIS. Both these are mystery-based podcasts with similar structure (as they are both "Pacific Northwest Stories"). The Black Tapes are scarier than TANIS but they are both as mysterious and strange!

I came across these podcasts as I caught a cold and stayed home for a couple of days. I binged The Black Tapes in two days and TANIS in about a week. It's that good. Now, I'm waiting for Black Tapes s3 and TANIS just released their first ep in their 3rd season today.

The Black Tapes is about Alex Reagan who starts a podcast about people with unusual or particularly interesting jobs. She talks to some people who are mediums/ghost hunters and she becomes quite interested. When Dr. Richard Strand enters the picture she decides to hold on to the same subject for at least one season because now things are getting really strange!

TANIS is Nic Silver's podcast where he wants to uncover some information about this myth "TANIS" that he has heard about for years but never delved into. While he learns more and more about this myth, more and more strange things are happening to him and general things around him. His information specialist, aka hacker, Meerkatnip gets more and more suspicious as well when he decides to actually go in the woods and "look for" TANIS.

So while Black Tapes is pretty "ghost and supernaturaly", TANIS is more "conspiracies and nature's mysteries".

I can't think of a story lover or writer who won't want to indulge in these podcasts. The stories are so well put together.

On another note. Until a year ago I had never eaten clams. When I finally did, I loved them. I have probably eaten them about 10 times since (so like once a month). Then, twice, I got really, really sick and vomited when I ate them. I am now considering the fact that I've become allergic to clams. What are the odds? Sad.

Take care friends. Listen to these podcasts. But try and stay away from becoming allergic to clams.

  1. Tried to listen to Black tapes and got through one episode and for some reason it did'nt click with me at the time. I am up to date on Tanis and Rabbits so I guess I should give Black Tapes another go. Do you have any other recommendations for Podcasts?

    1. I have loads of other podcasts but not many in that genre, at least that are as good as BT, TANIS and Rabbits. I started listening to S-Town but I didn't fall for it...
