Call of Juarez

Hey everyone! I just saw that something went terribly wrong in the last post. There must have been three-four lines that disappeared so I now understand if someone didn't understand the beginning of the Xbox-talk. What is missing I think was saying "I don't like the Kinect for the current Xbox" and spoke shortly about that, maybe it makes a bit more sense to you now.

Tomorrow SveCup is coming to my town so of course I'll go there. SveCup is a cup in e-sport games for Swedes so if you live close to Västerås, go to there and visit Skrapan for some close-up e-sport! :)

Oh and if anyone's interested I had forgotten that "Don't starve" has been released! I had totally missed that, I'm thinking about buying that, would be typical me. Indiiiiie gaaames!

My boyfriend is playing the new "Call of Juarez" at the moment.

It's really worth checking out for many reasons! Though it's not my kind of game (shooting is not my strong side) it's really, really cool to watch. The way they've decided to tell the story is great, the person you play literally tells the story as you play, which is a cool, and for me, new experience. The way you duel is also really cool and innovative. You have to aim, have your hand close to your gun, not shoot first (preferably) and actually hit the guy. In game there's also a bunch of things the determine whether you're good or not. You have interactive abilities, try and get focus, obviously aim etc.

The developers appears to have good humor too. Sometimes you have to die in the game and then respawn at a new place because you seemed to have told the story wrong.

I like when games are realistic too. In the boss fights the boss has a lot of health but otherwise when shooting people they die if you hit them in the head and you have to shoot more if you only hit them in their foot.

The design on the game is pretty cool too. The coulours are spot on, as well as the music, but the whole game looks a bit cartoony and reminded both me and my boyfriend about Borderlands. It's a bit wierd that we both thought so because when you actually look a bit closer on the game it's really not that cartoony...

So... not my type of game but... still pretty cool game!! I don't know what I would do without my boyfriend and/or YouTube if I couldn't watch games I can't afford myself/would suck at and not even bother trying/be suspicious about!

Gnbth
Bye guys!
